This idyllic place, with a mighty plane tree in its center, is located in the middle of an olive grove on Lesvos island, Greece. The plane tree provides a cool shade even in the hot noon and afternoon hours. This remarkable place possesses a high spiritual density and is a very unique location for contemplation, spiritual reflections and meditative group events. The Tree of Hippocrates, under which Hippocrates - the "Father of Medicine" - taught at the greek island of Kos, is reputed to have been also an oriental plane. So the historic place of Hippocrates' teachings could have been very similar to the one shown here.
