Yes, Jane, you are very sensitive and are completely on the right track with your interpretation. While the sunlight has mostly a dynamic and pushing character, this image is meant to express softness, rest, self-absorption and total comfort. I was exactly in this mood on a rainy day when this scene appeared in me ... It is good to have someone like you, who is able to recognize such more subtle and sophisticated states of the soul. This is a most curious and "stilling" image Andreas.I find it beautiful in a very quiet way and do not need a sunny day.In fact,it is probably much "stiller" without sunshine! But I wish you could offer a few clues as to what was in your mind for this one! v/f
