The picture was taken at Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna / Austria and shows the famous "Hochstrahlbrunnen" (High-Jet Fountain). The fountain was commissioned on the occasion of the completion of the 1st Vienna high spring water pipeline after a construction period of four months on October 24, 1873 in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I. The picture conveys a total summer feeling and was taken on an extremely hot day in the summer of 2023. If you look closely, you can even see a faint second rainbow above the main rainbow, which is rather rare.
